Frequently asked questions
- Is the Markdown uploaded?
- No. Parsing and previewing happen locally in your browser, so it suits README drafts or internal documentation snippets.
- Why not dangerouslySetInnerHTML?
- The preview is rendered as React elements, so text is escaped by default; link and image URLs are restricted to http/https/mailto and javascript: is rejected.
- Does it support GFM tables?
- The MVP supports headings, bold and italic, code blocks, lists, links, quotes and horizontal rules. GFM tables are planned for phase 2.
- How do I export?
- Use "Copy HTML" to get the rendered source, or "Download .md" to save the original Markdown file.
